Thankfulness & God's Faithfulness

I'm so very thankful for this year.  God has always been so faithful to me.  He's protected me, loved me, and given my joy in hard times.  I remember this time last year, I did not want to celebrate any Holidays.  I did not want to celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas.  I had a heart that wasn't ready to move on or let go.  I had a stubborn heart, one that wasn't willing to listen or heal.  I had a broken heart, one that was not allowing me to be thankful for yet another year.  Even then God provided ways for me to heal and the space I needed, in providing opportunities to stay home for Thanksgiving and to be traveling all through Christmas and New Years.  God was so good to me.  Today I look back and think of just how far God has taken me.  I'm thankful He protected me from a very bad situation and gave me healing in that.  I'm thankful He took me far away from two really hard circumstances and allowed me to start over.  I look back over this last year and the h

New Blog!

So I have not wrote in a long time and the reason...because I have started another blog.  A more professional blog, I hope.  It is a book blog and other hobbies of mine, like baking and photography.  But my main focus is books, from a Christian perspective.  As I get older, it gets harder to find books that I enjoy.  I love romance, but that is not the best genre to be reading because of the way our culture thinks and lives today.  SO many times I have had to put a book down.  Sometimes I continue reading, thinking it will get better.  It's a real struggle.  SO I really wanted to help others out.  I wanted to make a site (much like the sites for movies) where people, whether young kids, teens, or adults, could go to and find a description of a book they are hoping to read, so they will know what they will be reading and if it is even worth it.  That is my goal and hope for this new blog.
Please check it out and follow or whatever you want.  But I would love some feedback!  Let me know what you think!
I have things I am still going to be fixing and be working on, but it is mostly done.  Also I write under a pen name...

I will still be doing this blog, more for personal things.  Like pictures and maybe brief descriptions of books I have read, to keep a record.  I looked back at all my post a few days ago and was so thankful for the memories.  Some of them are hard, but most bring a smile, a laugh, and a few tears.  I started this blog about 6 years ago and a lot has changed since then, but I am thankful that I can come back and look at what happened in those years.  I want to be able to do that in the years to come too!
